Delta Waves are generated during the deepest states of meditation and dreamless sleep. This is the state of healing, regeneration, and strengthening of the body. This is why deep sleep is so important. Delta Wave is considered by many to be the most beneficial of all brainwaves. Advanced monks have been known to access the Delta Wave range when they practice meditation but it is much more effective when brainwave entrainment is used. Deep sleep alone will not give the full benefits of regular delta wave meditation. Only Binaural Beats are effective in this zone. Delta wave will place you in the deepest state of meditation possible.
Alpha Wave is a relaxed state of consciousness that is highly effective for reducing stress. This is the perfect zone to start off any meditation. Many forms of meditation, mindfulness meditation, and most taught meditation programs, are in alpha wave. Some of the benefits such as creativity and stress reduction occur during both theta and alpha wave. Increased alpha wave is great for creating art, writing music, inventing, and inspiration. It's great for artists, musicians, or any creative individuals, used for unleashing your full creative potential. When we are in a relaxed state, such as watching television, this is usually a form of alpha wave. Also, many substances such as cannabis increase alpha wave brain activity, this is what causes our increased sense of pleasure. Many of our meditation soundscapes, start off at around 12 Hz, this is the ideal meditation induction frequency.

The frequency of 7.83 Hz is the natural frequency of the earth, it's also the same frequency in which our cells communicate with each other due to evolution. All forms of life evolved, submerged within this natural frequency. These days, we are subjected to many artificial frequencices though WI-FI, cell phones, etc... this is why a grounding meditation is so important and helps get us back in tune with nature. This is the frequency that separates alpha and theta wave, it's right in between the subconscious and the super subconscious mind state. This frequency will leave you feeling completely refreshed.

Beta Wave is the range associated when the brain is focused, energized, and alert. Beta wave covers a fairly wide range. Mid to low beta (14-22 Hz), is the range of alertness, focus, and concentration. High beta (22 - 40 Hz), can cause anxiety and stress, but also offers some important benefits as well. It's all about proper balance. The state of listening to dance music would be and example of beta wave.
